Placements24 is seeking an experienced In‑House Counsel in Polokwane to provide practical legal advice across business units. You will manage contract negotiations, risk assessment, and corporate governance while aligning with regulatory frameworks in Limpopo.

The role requires post-qualification experience, strong commercial and contract law knowledge, and the ability to liaise with internal stakeholders and external counsel in a dynamic corporate setting.

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney with a minimum of 6 years post-qualification experience
• Solid understanding of commercial law, contract law, and relevant South African legislation
• Proven experience in managing a diverse portfolio of legal matters
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including supplier agreements, leases, and partnerships
• Advise on corporate compliance, company secretarial duties, and governance matters
