Job summary

Headhunters is seeking an experienced Imports and Supply Chain professional to manage end-to-end imports and procurement within a allocated portfolio in Gauteng. You will validate proforma invoices, create SAP POs, and coordinate shipments with suppliers and agents.

The role requires Matric and a Diploma or Degree in Imports / Supply Chain Management, with at least 4 years of relevant experience; SAP proficiency is essential. Financial background is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Matric / Grade 12.
• Diploma or Degree in Imports / Supply Chain Management.
• At least 4 years’ Imports / Supply Chain Management experience.
• Previous financial background is beneficial.
• Knowledge of working with SAP system.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end imports and procurement for an allocated portfolio.
• Validate proforma invoices, create SAP POs, and follow up on supplier readiness.
• Obtain and compare freight quotes, appoint agents, and monitor shipments.
• Check shipping documents, complete clearing instructions, and coordinate warehouse receipt.
• Prepare supplier payments, FEC requirements, costings, and book stock in SAP.
• Maintain accurate shipment reports, import files, and communicate risks proactively.
• Provide backup support for other import portfolios when required.
