Job summary

Smollan Technologies, the specialised tech arm of Smollan, is seeking an Implementation Consultant to transform deployments into seamless adoption journeys and drive rapid value for clients.

You will own end-to-end implementations from discovery to go-live, conduct training, manage stakeholders, and feed insights to the Product team to shape future software enhancements.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualification in Business, IT or Implementation.
• 4–6 years of overall experience, with at least 3 years in software implementation.
• 3 years managing teams in a client delivery environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end customer implementations from discovery to go-live.
• Conduct on-site data runs, create docs, and train users to improve adoption.
• Set up rollout frameworks and run governance meetings across teams.
• Capture learnings and feed insights to Product Owners.
• Assist in pre-sales workshops and solution demonstrations.

What You Need

• Qualifications & Experience: Tertiary qualification in Business, IT, or Implementation; 4–6 years of overall experience, with at least 3 years dedicated to software implementation and 3 years managing teams in a client delivery environment.
• Technical & Domain Expertise: Proven track record in data integration, software reporting projects, SDLC fundamentals, and business analysis methodologies.
• Core Competencies: Exceptional project management capabilities, strong analytical problem-solving skills, and the ability to pre-empt risk and lead cross-functional alignment under pressure.
• Interpersonal Mastery: Outstanding communication and conflict-resolution skills, with a track record of motivating teams and building trusting client relationships.

What You Will Do

• Own the Journey: Lead end-to-end customer implementations from initial discovery and scope definition to technical handover, rollout, and go-live sign-off.
• Drive Enablement & Adoption: Conduct on-site data runs, design digital documentation, and deliver comprehensive user training to eliminate adoption friction.
• Manage Stakeholders & Governance: Establish project rollout frameworks, maintain visible project updates, and run structured governance meetings across internal, client, and third-party teams.
• Feed the Product Pipeline: Capture implementation learnings and direct client insights to collaborate with Product Owners on future software enhancements.
• Support Commercial Growth: Assist in pre-sales discovery workshops, business case proposals, and solution demonstrations for prospective clients.
