Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Socail Impact Lead in Rustenburg, North West. This senior role drives the organization's impact strategy, supervises measurement systems, and partners with government, business, and community groups to maximize social and environmental outcomes in the Rustenburg region.

The ideal candidate will design data-driven evaluations, report on ROI, and guide program teams toward scalable, sustainable change while aligning with ethical practices and the organization’s mission.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree required in Development Studies, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or related field.
• Minimum of 7 years designing and managing social impact programs in non-profit or social enterprise.
• Demonstrated expertise in impact measurement, evaluation, and reporting methodologies.
• Strong understanding of the socio-economic and environmental landscape of Rustenburg, North West.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and manage the organization's overarching social impact strategy for Rustenburg, North West.
• Design and oversee robust impact measurement and evaluation systems.
• Analyze data to identify trends, measure outcomes, and report on the social return on investment.
• Build and maintain strategic partnerships with government bodies, businesses, and community groups in Rustenburg.
• Lead the integration of social impact considerations into all program designs and operational processes.
• Identify and pursue opportunities for innovation and scaling of successful initiatives.
• Communicate the organization's impact to diverse audiences, including donors, beneficiaries, and the public.
• Provide strategic guidance and capacity building to program staff on impact-related matters.
• Stay abreast of best practices and emerging trends in social impact and sustainable development.
• Champion the organization's mission and values throughout the North West region.
