Job summary

Placements24 is assisting a respected non-profit near Rustenburg in finding a Social Impact Officer. The role covers planning, execution, and evaluation of community-focused projects with strong stakeholder engagement, in a hybrid arrangement with on-site duties in Rustenburg.

You will drive social impact frameworks, manage end-to-end projects, conduct needs assessments, monitor progress, and contribute to fundraising while collaborating with government, NGOs, and community groups to deliver

Qualifications

• Proven experience in social impact management or related field.
• Ability to build relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Knowledge of social impact measurement frameworks and evaluation methodologies.
• Strong organizational and planning skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
• Experience in facilitating meetings and workshops, both in-person and virtually.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to work a hybrid schedule, balancing remote work with on-site duties near Rustenburg.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve measurable social impact in the Rustenburg area and surrounding communities.
• Manage the full lifecycle of social impact projects from conception to evaluation.
• Build and maintain collaborative partnerships with stakeholders including community leaders, authorities, NGOs and corporate partners.
• Conduct needs assessments and feasibility studies to identify new opportunities.
• Monitor progress, collect data, and prepare reports on impact and lessons learned for stakeholders.
• Ensure activities align with the organization's mission and objectives.
• Facilitate community engagement sessions, workshops, and public consultations.
• Support fundraising by assisting in proposal and grant reporting.
• Stay updated on best practices and policy developments in social impact.
