Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Charitable Programs Manager in Stellenbosch, Western Cape to design, implement, and oversee diverse charitable programs for a respected non-profit. You will ensure programs meet community needs and achieve impact.

Lead a team, manage budgets, and build partnerships with beneficiaries, government, and other non-profits while ensuring compliance and reporting. A passion for philanthropy and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in a related field or equivalent.
• 5-7 years of progressive non-profit program management experience.
• Strong design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation skills.
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong report writing and communication skills.
• Budget management and resource allocation experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the entire lifecycle of charitable programs from concept to evaluation.
• Manage program budgets, resources, and timelines for impact.
• Develop and implement monitoring and evaluation frameworks to assess effectiveness.
• Build partnerships with beneficiaries, community stakeholders, and government agencies.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of program staff.
• Ensure compliance with regulations, funding requirements, and policies.
• Prepare comprehensive program reports for stakeholders and donors.
• Identify funding opportunities and contribute to proposal writing.
• Represent the organization at forums and meetings to advocate for the mission.
