Placements24 is seeking a proactive Project Coordinator to support community development initiatives in Nelspruit and the Mpumalanga region. You will help plan, execute, and monitor programs that empower residents and improve well-being.

The role requires strong organizational and communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to engage diverse stakeholders. Experience in project coordination and familiarity with Mpumalanga communities are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Public Administration, or related field.
• Experience in project coordination, administration, or program support, preferably in the charity sector.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
• Proficiency in project management tools and standard office software.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and development of community development projects.
• Coordinate project activities, timelines, and resource allocation in Nelspruit.
• Liaise with community members, local leaders, and partner organizations.
• Track project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain project documentation, records, and reports for effective monitoring.
• Support the organization of project-related meetings, workshops, and events.
