Oribi, a PULSE Groupe SOS incubator based in Cape Town, seeks a Finance Officer for a 12-month fixed-term contract. Reporting to the Ops & Finance Director, you will manage donor-finance, upload source documents, and ensure expenses align with project budgets.

You will monitor cash flow, prepare donor reports, support audits, and handle HR admin with the team. Requires a Finance degree and 5+ years in finance with English fluency.

Qualificações

• Diploma or degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years’ professional experience in finance, ideally in project-based settings or small teams.
• Solid knowledge of donor reporting requirements and compliance procedures.
• Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail.
• Proficiency in accounting software (Xero) and Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a multicultural team.
• Strong written and spoken English in an international environment.

Responsabilidades

• Apply financial policies and controls (SOPs).
• Compile, verify, and upload source documents monthly to accounting system and SharePoint.
• Manage payment vouchers with Ops team and Director.
• Allocate expenses to projects and donors.
• Update project and donor budgets with actuals and forecasts.
