Job summary

The Talent Room in Cape Town offers a 12-month internship in a fast-paced commercial finance and administration department. You will gain hands-on experience with transactional accounting, accounts payable/receivable, reconciliations, document control, and daily operations.

Successful candidates will work closely with the finance and operations teams, developing solid Excel and MS Office skills while supporting daily processing and reporting in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Completed Degree or 3-Year Diploma in Accounting, Financial Management, Finance qualification.
• South African citizen.
• Ages 18–28.
• Unemployed at time of placement.
• Must not have completed YES Programme.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily finance operations and ledger records.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Help with reconciliations and balances.
• Assist with sales and operations documentation and order processing.
• Support month-end reporting and documentation.
• Maintain filing systems and data capture.
• Assist with customer inquiries and cross‑department coordination.
