Job summary

Merand Recruitment is seeking a technically skilled Data Coordinator for its Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Department in Stellenbosch. You will manage data systems, impact-tracking tools and reporting dashboards, ensuring timely collection, cleaning, validation and reporting of programme data in line with organisational standards.

You will support data management processes, develop reports and visualisations, and provide analytical insights to inform decisions, improve programme

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline (Geoinformatics, Data Science, IT, Remote Sensing, Information Systems, Statistics)
• 3+ years of data coordination, data management or related roles
• Experience developing dashboards, reports, or automated data workflows
• Experience supporting field data collection (preferred)
• Strong written and verbal communication for non-technical audiences
• Ability to work independently resolving routine data/system issues
• High attention to detail and data validation
• Ability to collaborate across multi-disciplinary and international teams
• Willingness to travel to field sites in Africa, including remote areas
