Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Social Services Manager to lead operations in Sandton, Gauteng. You will guide a range of community programs, manage staff, and work with partners to address social needs in the region.

The role requires a master's level education and at least 7 years of management experience in social services, with strong leadership and budgeting capabilities.

Qualificações

• Master's degree in Social Work, Public Administration, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years progressive experience in social services management.
• Proven track record in program development, implementation, and evaluation.
• Strong leadership, team management, and strategic planning skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic direction and operational oversight for all social services programs.
• Manage, mentor, and develop a team of social workers and support staff.
• Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and efficient resource allocation.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with government agencies, NGOs, and community partners.
• Oversee program evaluation, ensuring data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, policies, and ethical standards.
