The role requires deadline-driven organisation, meticulous attention to detail and a strong focus on delivering excellent client service while building lasting relationships with corporate clients across Africa.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of professional and corporate clients and their immigration requirements.
• Consult with clients and provide guidance on the most appropriate visa and permit categories based on their circumstances.
• Identify potential immigration risks and provide practical recommendations and solutions.
• Manage immigration matters end-to-end, from initial consultation and document preparation through submission, with admin support.
• Maintain regular and professional communication with clients throughout the immigration process.
• Liaise with government departments and authorities across Africa to facilitate applications.
• Build and maintain relationships with immigration stakeholders and third-party service providers across Africa.
• Monitor developments within the immigration environment and stay updated with changes.
• Draft client updates, articles and other content relating to changes in immigration legislation.
• Support marketing, client engagement and business development initiatives where required.

The Role

As an Immigration Consultant, you will be responsible for managing immigration matters from initial consultation through to completion. You will provide clients with informed guidance on visa and permit options, identify potential risks and ensure that each matter is managed efficiently and professionally.

The role requires someone who is deadline-driven, highly organised and comfortable managing multiple matters simultaneously while maintaining accuracy and excellent client service.

Key Requirements

• Proven professional experience within the Immigration Services industry, with practical exposure to immigration matters across Africa.
• Experience managing immigration applications and client matters independently.
• Additional experience with outbound/global immigration matters will be highly advantageous.
• A relevant formal qualification will be advantageous.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong client relationship management skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and professional communication with clients throughout the immigration process.
• Liaise with government departments and relevant authorities across Africa to facilitate immigration applications and processes.
• Build and maintain effective working relationships with immigration stakeholders and third-party service providers across Africa.
• Monitor developments within the immigration environment and remain up to date with legislative, regulatory and procedural changes.
• Draft client updates, articles and other content relating to changes and developments in immigration legislation.
• Support marketing, client engagement and business development initiatives where required.
