Job summary

Reverside, an established IT services provider in South Africa, is seeking a Cyber Security Engineer to join the Identity & Access Platforms team in Johannesburg. You will implement, configure, secure, and operate identity governance and access management platforms across the organisation.

You will manage Active Directory, support SAML and OpenID Connect, work with Keycloak and Entra ID, and apply Zero Trust and least-privilege principles to protect digital identities.

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology.
• 5+ years' experience in Active Directory administration and support.
• Strong knowledge of IAM and authentication protocols.
• Experience with SAML and OpenID Connect.
• Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
• Keycloak experience is advantageous.
• Entra ID experience is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Active Directory and identity platforms.
• Implement and maintain authentication protocols including SAML and OpenID Connect.
• Support identity providers such as Keycloak and Entra ID.
• Ensure secure integration and operation of identity services.
• Troubleshoot identity, authentication, and access-related issues.
• Implement IAM, PAM, Zero Trust, and least-privilege principles.
• Apply JIT/JEA practices to strengthen identity security.
• Collaborate with technical and security teams to support business objectives.
• Support hybrid infrastructure, cloud platforms, and operating systems.
