Job summary

Reverside in Johannesburg, South Africa, is hiring a Cyber Security Engineer to join the Identity & Access Platforms team. The role focuses on implementing and operating identity governance and access management across the organisation.

You will manage Active Directory, integrate authentication protocols, and support cloud identities while promoting Zero Trust and least-privilege principles. Hybrid work and collaboration with security teams are expected.

Qualifications

• Relevant IT qualification and 5+ years in Active Directory administration and support.
• Strong knowledge of IAM and authentication protocols including SAML and OpenID Connect.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and identity providers.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support Active Directory and identity platforms.
• Implement and maintain authentication protocols including SAML and OpenID Connect.
• Support identity providers such as Keycloak and Entra ID.
• Ensure secure integration and operation of identity services.
• Troubleshoot identity, authentication, and access-related issues.
• Implement IAM, PAM, Zero Trust, and least-privilege principles.
• Apply JIT/JEA practices to strengthen identity security.
• Collaborate with technical and security teams to support business objectives.
• Support hybrid infrastructure, cloud platforms, and operating systems.
