Job summary

Boardroom Appointments in Stellenbosch, South Africa, is seeking a Cloud Engineer focused on Microsoft Azure to design, deploy, and operate Azure cloud infrastructure within the ICT cloud environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Azure Cloud Infrastructure: Design, build, manage, and monitor Azure cloud infrastructure and services within the ICT cloud environment (40%).
• Incident and Ticket Management: Manage incidents and ticket requests within the ICT Operations cloud environment (40%).
• Cloud Security and Compliance: Ensure cloud security, compliance, and risk mitigation for Company Azure resources (5%).
• Process and System Improvement: Drive process and system improvements within the ICT engineering environment (5%).
• Support Procedures: Update and maintain support procedures within the ICT engineering environment (5%).

• At least 3 years of experience in designing, managing, and deploying cloud services, focusing on Microsoft Azure and on-prem IT Operations.
• 5 years of experience in cloud engineering, including designing, implementing, and monitoring cloud environments, especially Azure.

Education

• Desired: Degree in Information Systems or equivalent.
• Internal: Company staff, Corporate Project Office, ICT Department, and Operations.
• External: Suppliers and Third Parties.
