Job summary

Boardroom Appointments is seeking a Senior Azure Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to support and evolve our Azure-based infrastructure. You will craft and maintain deployment pipelines, write IaC, and automate provisioning of Azure resources for test and production environments.

You will work closely with development teams to optimize cloud networking, enable modernized workloads, and respond to monitoring alerts while staying current with cloud best practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Infrastructure deployment and support.
• Familiarity with ARM, Terraform, Pulumi for IaC.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for Azure environments.
• Provision Azure resources and automate deployments with IaC.
• Respond to monitoring alerts and provide systems support.
• Migrate on-prem workloads to Cloud and modernize architecture.
• Collaborate with developers to identify required Azure resources and provisioning.

Job purpose:

Support the business in achieving its strategic objectives.

Requirements

• Bring in continuous deployment practices to enhance our Agile posture


• Write Infrastructure as Code (ARM, Terraform, Pulumi) using Industry standard tools and services


• Write application deployment automation using industry standard deployment and configuration tools


• Design and implement continuous delivery pipelines, that serve the purpose of provisioning and operating client test as well as production environments


• Provide systems support, including responding to monitoring alerts


• Implement and stay abreast of Cloud industry best practices and tooling


• Work with developers to identify necessary Azure resources and automate their provisioning


• Cloud virtual networking design and operational experience


• Modernizing and migrating on prem workloads to cloud

Qualifications:

More than 4 years hands-on experience with Azure Cloud Infrastructure deployment and support using the following services:

• App service environment


• Function Apps
