Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a hygiene/sanitation role, preferably in manufacturing/food processing.
• In-depth knowledge of HACCP, GMP, and related food safety/quality standards.
• Strong understanding of cleaning agents, disinfection methods, and sanitation equipment.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and staff training skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain hygiene management systems.
• Audit production areas, storage facilities, and equipment for hygiene standards.
• Monitor pest control programs for effectiveness and compliance.
• Oversee cleaning and disinfection procedures with correct chemicals.
• Train staff on hygiene protocols and safe chemical handling.
• Investigate hygiene-related incidents and non-compliance issues.
• Maintain accurate records of audits, training, chemical usage, and incidents.
• Collaborate with QA and Production to address hygiene concerns.
