Job summary

iqbusiness seeks a Technical Product Manager for a 12-month contract in Cape Town. The role focuses on shaping the digital product strategy, owning customer journeys, and driving delivery with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work setup (3 days on-site, 2 days WFH).

You will translate business objectives into product priorities, balance short-term needs with platform priorities, and guide analytics-driven decisions from discovery through delivery and optimization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/engineering or related field.
• 5+ years managing digital products or customer-facing tech.
• Experience with Agile teams in software development.
• Experience with analytics and experimentation to inform decisions.
• Experience in B2C digital products or high-traffic websites advantageous.
• Strong delivery and project management capability.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision and roadmap for digital experiences.
• Translate strategy and user needs into clear priorities and roadmaps.
• Own and improve key customer journeys across websites and related digital touchpoints.
• Collaborate with Engineering, UX/UI, QA, Analytics, Marketing and Content teams.
• Maintain and prioritise the product backlog with clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
