Job summary

Collinson Group in Cape Town is seeking a Financial Analyst to join the Technology Finance function. You will manage data capture, consolidation and reporting, bridging technology and finance to track time, costs and capitalisation.

You will build automated dashboards, provide forecasts, support month-end closes and assist budgeting for tech projects. The role requires 1–3 years in corporate finance or data analytics, advanced Excel and BI skills, and strong communication with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or a related quantitative discipline.
• 1 to 3 years of experience in corporate finance, project accounting or data analytics.
• Baseline understanding of asset capitalisation concepts.
• Advanced Excel skills and ability to build BI-style dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with delivery managers and technology stakeholders to capture time spent on business initiatives.
• Ensure inputs are accurate for financial tracking.
• Support asset capitalisation compliance per guidelines.
