Qualifications

• Master's degree in Sustainable Development, Environmental Management, Economics or related social science.
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in sustainable development planning, policy analysis or project management.
• Knowledge of SDGs and relevant frameworks; strong stakeholder engagement and facilitation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication and report-writing abilities.

Responsabilités

• Provide expert advice on sustainable development principles and practices to the organization and partners.
• Lead development and implementation of sustainability projects in energy, resource management, and social enterprise.
• Conduct socio-economic and environmental analysis for Mossel Bay region.
• Facilitate stakeholder consultations, workshops, and forums for collaboration.
• Develop policy recommendations and advocacy strategies for local and regional impact.
• Monitor and evaluate initiatives, reporting progress and challenges.
• Build relationships with government, businesses, communities, and intl. organizations.
• Identify funding opportunities and support grant writing for projects.
