Placements24 is seeking an experienced Internal Communications Manager for a leading financial services institution in Bloemfontein. You will craft and drive comprehensive internal communication programs that align with company goals and values.

You will manage newsletters, the intranet, emails, town halls and digital signage, partner with HR and leadership, and champion employee engagement and transparency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Human Resources, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal communications or related roles.
• Proven experience developing and executing internal communication strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with editing/proofreading abilities.
• Proficiency with intranet management systems and various communication tools.
• Strong employee engagement and change management communication knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement internal communication strategies and plans.
• Create content for newsletters, intranet, emails, town halls, and digital signage.
• Manage the intranet platform to ensure timely information dissemination.
• Support leadership in communicating organizational changes and updates.
• Facilitate two-way communication by gathering employee feedback and insights.
• Ensure consistent messaging and brand voice across internal communications.
• Organize internal events such as town halls and employee forums.
• Measure effectiveness and report on key metrics.
• Collaborate with HR, leadership, and other departments to align messaging.
• Foster transparency and open communication culture.
