Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Communications Manager to lead strategic communications from our Mahikeng office on a hybrid schedule. You will craft messaging, oversee media relations, and coordinate internal communications to align with business goals.

You will manage digital content, engage with stakeholders and the community, and provide guidance to senior leadership on communication strategy across channels, ensuring a consistent brand voice.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field.
• A Master's degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in communications management, PR, or media relations.
• Proven success in developing and executing strategic communication plans.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong editing and presentation abilities.
• Proficiency in digital communication tools, social media platforms, and content management systems.
• Demonstrated experience in managing media relations and crisis communications.
