Placements24 invites a Senior Spa Therapist & Wellness Coordinator to join their flagship Spa & Wellness retreat in Durban, KwaZulu-Natal. The role blends hands-on therapy with program coordination, guest journeys, and personalized wellness recommendations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of spa therapy experience, supervision or coordination exposure, and strong skincare/holistic wellness knowledge. A client-centric approach and ability to work across departments are essential.

Qualificações

• Professional qualification in Somatology, Beauty Therapy, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years as a Spa Therapist with multiple modalities.
• Experience in supervisory or coordination roles is desirable.
• In-depth knowledge of skincare, massage techniques, and holistic wellness practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and client-centric approach.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Perform a variety of advanced spa treatments, including massages, facials, body treatments and other therapies.
• Provide expert consultations to clients, assessing needs and recommending treatments/products.
• Coordinate and manage guest bookings, ensuring efficient scheduling and resource allocation.
• Assist in developing and implementing new spa and wellness programs and packages.
• Ensure high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and presentation within the spa.
• Maintain client records and ensure confidentiality of personal information.
• Promote spa services and retail products to clients, driving revenue growth.
• Assist in training and mentoring junior therapists, sharing expertise and best practices.
• Liaise with other departments to ensure a cohesive guest experience.
• Manage spa inventory and assist with ordering supplies.
• Create a tranquil and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
