Placements24 currently seeks a Software Development Project Manager to guide software projects from concept to deployment in a hybrid Klerksdorp setting. You will lead agile teams, align with product managers, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of software solutions.

The role requires strong leadership, stakeholder management, and a solid SDLC background, with a balance of remote and in-office responsibilities to drive product development forward.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience in software development.
• Proven experience with Jira and Confluence.
• Strong understanding of SDLC.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in a hybrid work setting.
• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage software development projects using Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Facilitate sprint ceremonies and agile ceremonies.
• Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define scope and roadmaps.
• Manage project schedules, resources, and budgets; ensure efficient asset use.
• Identify and mitigate risks and impediments to delivery.
• Communicate project status, updates, and metrics to stakeholders.
