Job summary

Placements24 seeks an accomplished Project Manager to lead software development initiatives from a Centurion office. You will guide teams through the SDLC, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality products while coordinating with DevOps, QA and stakeholders.

The role requires 6+ years in software project management, strong leadership and excellent communication. PMP or Scrum Master is preferred as the Gauteng market benefits from experienced professionals.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in software project management.
• Experience managing multiple software development projects concurrently.
• Proficiency with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and Jira.
• Strong understanding of the SDLC and development frameworks.
• Excellent leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field; PMP or Scrum Master preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and finalize software development projects within deadlines and budget.
• Define scope, objectives and deliverables with stakeholders.
• Develop comprehensive project plans and communication documents.
• Manage developers, testers and designers and foster collaboration.
• Identify and manage risks and dependencies; implement solutions.
• Coordinate deployment and release with DevOps and QA teams.
