Placements24 is seeking an experienced Commercial Construction Site Manager to oversee the on-site execution of diverse commercial projects in Vereeniging, Gauteng. You will manage day-to-day site operations, coordinate subcontractors, monitor progress, and ensure adherence to project plans, budgets, and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• A relevant qualification in Construction Management or equivalent experience.
• Proven track record of managing commercial construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and direct all on-site construction activities with trades and subcontractors.
• Develop and manage detailed site schedules to hit milestones.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Conduct site inspections and implement corrective actions.
• Manage site logistics, material delivery and equipment usage.
• Liaise with PMs, architects, engineers and clients for progress updates.
• Oversee procurement and management of site resources.
• Maintain daily reports, safety logs and inspection records.
• Foster productive relationships with site personnel and stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot on-site challenges during construction.
