Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Wellness Consultant & Program Designer for a hybrid role based in East London, Eastern Cape. You will develop and implement comprehensive wellness programs for corporate clients and provide high-level consulting services to improve employee well-being.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in corporate wellness program design and strong client-facing skills. You will mentor juniors and collaborate with internal teams to deliver measurable health outcomes and ROI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Health Promotion, Public Health, Kinesiology, Psychology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate wellness program design and implementation or consulting.
• Proven ability to develop and manage complex wellness initiatives.
• Strong understanding of health behavior change theories and motivational strategies.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Outstanding presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment, balancing remote tasks with on-site client meetings.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., CHWC, CWP) are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Conduct needs assessments and develop strategic wellness plans for corporate clients.
• Design, implement, and manage a variety of wellness programs, including health education, fitness challenges, stress management workshops, and nutritional guidance.
• Provide expert consultation to clients on best practices in corporate health and well-being.
• Develop engaging wellness content and resources for participants.
• Track program participation, outcomes, and ROI, providing regular reports to clients.
• Stay current with trends and research in corporate wellness, public health, and behavioral science.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful program delivery.
• Mentor junior consultants and contribute to the growth of the wellness consulting practice.
