Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead initiatives that optimize our logistics and distribution network, driving efficiency, reducing costs, and improving service levels across warehouses, transportation, and IT interfaces. The role requires strategic thinking, a hybrid work approach with on-site engagement at distribution centers, and collaboration with operations teams.

A Bachelor's in a related field and 7+ years in project management are expected; PMP or APICS

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of project management experience in logistics and supply chain operations.
• Experience with hybrid work structures, remote and on-site.
• Strong understanding of warehousing, transportation management, and inventory control.
• Proficiency with PM software and logistics optimization tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects optimizing logistics and distribution networks.
• Develop detailed project plans with scope, resources, budgets, and risks.
• Collaborate with operations, warehouses, carriers, and IT.
• Oversee warehousing system implementations, automation, and route optimization.
• Conduct on-site assessments and virtual meetings to monitor progress.
• Ensure deliverables meet efficiency, cost savings, and service levels.
