Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Senior Nanny & Early Years Development Coach to provide remote support and guidance to families, with occasional on-site visits around Rustenburg, North West, ZA. The role blends hands-on childcare expertise with developmental coaching for caregivers.

You will design age-appropriate activities, share resources, and help families establish healthy routines. Strong communication, empathy, and travel flexibility are essential for this hybrid role.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a nanny or caregiver with senior/supervisory responsibilities.
• Formal training in Early Childhood Development is highly desirable.
• Ability to provide effective remote guidance to families.
• Strong understanding of child development from infancy through early childhood.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual consultations with families to assess needs and provide tailored guidance.
• Develop age-appropriate activity plans and resources for remote delivery.
• Offer guidance on routines, sleep, and positive discipline via video/ email.
• Provide remote troubleshooting for common childcare challenges.
• When needed, perform in-home visits within the Rustenburg vicinity for demonstrations and assessments.
• Educate families on child safety, nutrition, and well-being.
• Maintain professional communication and coordinate with the client’s support team.
• Research and recommend child-friendly educational materials.
