Placements24 is seeking a Senior Nanny & Educational Support Specialist in a full-time remote role in Johannesburg. You will provide expert childcare and targeted educational enrichment for two children, ages 4 and 7, using virtual methods and real-world activities to foster growth.

The role demands professionalism, adaptability, and a passion for early childhood education, with a focus on safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning experiences from home.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of professional childcare experience.
• Proven track record in curriculum development for ages 3–8.
• Excellent virtual communication and technology proficiency.
• Deep understanding of child development principles and best practices in early learning.
• Background check and verifiable professional references are mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational activities and curricula for 4 and 7-year-olds.
• Provide attentive daily care, including supervision, meals, routines.
• Facilitate virtual learning sessions with Parents and tutors.
• Monitor progress and share detailed reports with parents.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating virtual and physical learning environment.
• Plan and organize online and offline activities promoting creativity and social-emotional development.
• Communicate proactively with parents about children's well-being and development.
