Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Child Development Program Manager in Polokwane. This hybrid role combines strategic planning with hands-on program management, including in-office duties and remote work opportunities.

You will develop, implement, and evaluate programs that support holistic child development and align with best practices. The ideal candidate holds a Master’s degree in a related field and has at least 6 years of program management experience in non-profit or education

Qualifications

Master's degree in a related field (Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work) is required.
Minimum 6 years of experience in program management within non-profit or education sectors.
Proven track record of developing and managing child-focused programs.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Familiarity with evaluation methodologies and data analysis.

Responsibilities

Lead the design, development, and implementation of new child development programs.
Manage program budgets, resources, and staff effectively.
Ensure all programs adhere to high standards of quality, safety, and developmental appropriateness.
Monitor program outcomes and conduct evaluations to measure impact and identify areas for improvement.
Build and maintain strong relationships with community partners, parents, and stakeholders.
