Absa Group in Cape Town seeks a Principal Business Analyst to bridge business needs with technology in the financial services sector. You will lead client engagements, define requirements, create process models, and guide junior analysts to deliver measurable value.

You will leverage deep FS knowledge to influence solutions, ensure regulatory alignment, and mentor the team while collaborating with project managers and senior stakeholders.

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 8+ years experience as a Business Analyst in financial services.
• Strong knowledge of banking and insurance sectors.
• Experience in client-facing engagements.

Mansioni

• Lead analysis of complex business problems in financial services, identify root causes and opportunities for improvement.
• Define business requirements, functional specifications, and process models for client projects.
• Facilitate workshops and stakeholder meetings with business users, IT teams, and senior management.
• Develop and execute test plans ensuring solutions meet business needs and quality standards.
• Translate complex technical information into clear business documentation and presentations.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on best practices in business analysis and process optimization.
• Mentor and guide junior business analysts and project team members.
• Collaborate with project managers to ensure scope, timelines, and deliverables are managed effectively.
• Analyze industry trends and regulatory changes impacting the financial services sector.
• Contribute to the development of client consulting methodologies and thought leadership.
