Placements24 is seeking an experienced Senior Curriculum Developer specializing in Business Studies for its Klerksdorp campus. You will design, develop, and refine curricula to stay current with industry standards and national educational frameworks, while applying best practices for adult learning.

The role blends on-site collaboration with remote content development and requires strong research, writing, and instructional design skills.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in a relevant field.
• At least 5 years' experience in curriculum development, preferably Business Studies.
• Proven instructional design experience and familiarity with adult learning principles.
• Strong understanding of business practices and economic principles.
• Excellent research, writing, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with curriculum development software and LMS.
• Ability to work independently and in a hybrid environment.
• Experience in facilitating training sessions and providing feedback.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop curriculum frameworks, learning materials, and assessments for Business Studies.
• Update content to reflect current business trends, technologies, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with SMEs, instructors, and instructional designers to create engaging learning experiences.
• Pilot and evaluate new curriculum modules and integrate feedback for improvement.
• Train instructors on new curriculum content and pedagogical approaches.
• Perform needs analyses to identify gaps and propose new programs.
• Document curriculum development processes and outcomes.
• Work remotely on content creation and analysis; attend on-site meetings in Klerksdorp.
