Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in CS/IT or related field.
• 4+ years in Quality Assurance with strong test automation/API focus.
• Proven track record designing automated testing frameworks.
• Strong scripting with Python/JS/Java.
• Hands-on API testing with Postman/RestAssured or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for API testing.
• Execute automated API tests and analyze results to identify defects.
• Collaborate with developers/BA's to define test cases from requirements.
• Implement CI/CD integration for automated testing pipelines.
• Develop and run performance/load testing for APIs.
• Document defects clearly and track resolutions.
• Mentor junior QA engineers on automation best practices.
• Evaluate new testing tools and technologies.
