Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Reservations Manager for a premium Centurion hotel, blending remote flexibility with on-site collaboration in Gauteng. You will lead the reservations team, manage group and corporate bookings, and implement yield-driven strategies to maximize occupancy and revenue.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in hotel reservations, solid PMS and channel manager experience, strong leadership, and excellent communication.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in hotel reservations with 2+ years in a supervisory or management role.
• Experience with hotel reservation systems (PMS) and channel managers.
• Strong understanding of revenue management and yield management principles.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Hybrid work availability in Centurion, Gauteng.
• Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field is an advantage.

Responsabilités

• Lead the reservations team to maintain high productivity and customer service.
• Oversee all reservation activities including individual, group, and corporate bookings.
• Implement and maintain policies to optimize efficiency and accuracy.
• Use reservation and revenue management systems to manage inventory, rates, and availability.
• Monitor booking pace, market trends, and competitor activity to adjust strategies.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue Management teams to align reservation strategies with hotel objectives.
• Ensure accurate forecasting of room occupancy and revenue.
• Handle complex reservation inquiries and resolve booking-related issues promptly.
• Train and develop reservation staff to enhance skills and performance.
• Generate reports on reservations performance and provide insights to management.
