Placements24 in Richards Bay is seeking a motivated Regional Program Coordinator to oversee conservation projects across KwaZulu-Natal. The role blends fieldwork, administration, and stakeholder engagement with a hybrid in-office and remote work setup to ensure program success and strong team cohesion.

You will coordinate regional conservation programs, manage budgets, collect impact data, and report progress to senior management while collaborating with communities and partner agencies.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in program coordination, project management, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of conservation principles and practices.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience with project management software is advantageous.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel within the region.
• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Conservation Biology, Project Management, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the planning and execution of regional conservation programs.
