Placements24 is seeking a meticulous Quality Control Manager to oversee QA operations in Richards Bay, KwaZulu-Natal. The role focuses on developing and maintaining QMS, leading the QC team, and driving continuous improvement in quality processes.

The ideal candidate has strong expertise in chemical quality control, superior attention to detail, and a proactive approach to quality assurance. Hybrid work setup and leadership responsibilities are integral to the role.

Formación

• 6+ years of progressive experience in quality control or assurance in chemical manufacturing.
• Experience implementing and managing a QMS (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Strong knowledge of analytical techniques and laboratory equipment.
• GMP, HACCP, or other relevant quality certifications.
• Excellent leadership and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting, with regulatory awareness.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, implement, and manage the Quality Management System (QMS).
• Oversee all quality control testing for raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and customer specs.
• Lead, train, and mentor the QC team to foster quality excellence.
• Investigate deviations and CAPA, implement corrective actions.
• Manage laboratory operations, calibration and maintenance of equipment.
• Collaborate with production, R&D, and regulatory affairs to resolve issues.
• Conduct internal audits and participate in external audits by regulators and customers.
• Maintain quality records and prepare comprehensive reports.
