Qualifications

• Proven procurement experience in logistics or distribution.
• Familiarity with sourcing, negotiation, and contract management processes.
• Strong understanding of logistics and supply chain industry.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency with procurement software and ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Support the procurement process by identifying needs, sourcing suppliers, and obtaining quotes for goods and services.
• Assist in negotiating contract terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with suppliers to achieve cost savings.
• Manage supplier relationships, ensuring performance meets contractual obligations and SLAs.
• Maintain accurate procurement records, including purchase orders, invoices, and supplier databases.
• Conduct market research to identify potential new suppliers and evaluate existing ones.
• Collaborate with internal departments to align procurement with operations.
• Assist in monitoring inventory levels and ensuring availability of essential supplies.
• Prepare reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
