Job summary
Online Education Services (OES) in Cape Town is seeking a skilled PMO Manager to oversee a portfolio of Project Managers, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standard. This role drives governance, portfolio reporting, and strategic alignment across delivery teams.

Qualifications
- 7-10 years in project/programme management with leadership experience
- Experience leading Project Managers and delivering complex, multi-workstream projects
- Strong governance, risk management, and stakeholder management skills
Responsibilities
- Oversee a portfolio of Project Managers, providing leadership across multiple projects
- Govern and drive portfolio-level delivery standards and processes
- Escalate and resolve complex client or project challenges with Project Managers
- Lead portfolio-level reporting on delivery health, risk, and outcomes for senior leadership
- Drive strategic alignment between delivery, client expectations, and business objectives
- Monitor utilisation trends, resource forecasting, and financial performance across the portfolio
- Provide coaching and mentorship to Project Managers to grow leadership capability
- Foster accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement across teams
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure seamless delivery handovers and client satisfaction
