Job summary

ATS Client in Johannesburg, South Africa, seeks an Intermediate .NET Developer focused on system modernization and data. You will migrate legacy AngularJS/.NET Framework systems to Angular (v10+) and .NET Core/5+ in a cloud-ready architecture.

You will design scalable microservices, manage RPCs and messaging with RabbitMQ/Kafka/Azure Service Bus, and optimize SQL Server performance while ensuring CI/CD and operational stability.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in C#, .NET Core / .NET 5+, AngularJS and modern Angular (v10+).
• Strong TypeScript/JavaScript/HTML5/CSS skills.
• Experience designing RESTful APIs, microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with message buses (RabbitMQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus) and SQL Server.

Responsibilities

• Migrate legacy applications to modern Angular (v10+) and .NET Core/5+.
• Design and implement scalable microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Manage inter-service communication with RabbitMQ, Kafka or Azure Service Bus.
• Optimize SQL Server performance and support high-volume data throughput.
• Oversee architecture, CI/CD, deployment and system stability.
• Collaborate with product/business teams to align capabilities with needs.
