Placements24 in the Paarl region of the Western Cape seeks a dedicated Nanny and Child Development Specialist to care for two young children, aged 2 and 4, in a loving family home. This hybrid role blends hands-on in-home care with remote professional development opportunities.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood development, excellent organisational and communication skills, and a genuine love for children.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years professional childcare experience with focus on early childhood development.
• Certification in Early Childhood Education is highly desirable.
• First Aid and CPR certification.
• Willingness to undergo background check and provide references.

Responsabilités

• Provide attentive care for two young children (ages 2 and 4).
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities (sensory play, music, early literacy).
• Ensure safety and wellbeing indoors and outdoors.
• Prepare healthy meals and manage daily routines (naps, feeding, bathing, dressing).
• Communicate progress and concerns to parents; participate in occasional virtual meetings for development.
