The role requires a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, 3+ years of design experience, and CAD proficiency (SolidWorks, Inventor) plus exposure to PLM/PDM.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of mechanical design experience.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (SolidWorks, Inventor) and experience with PDM/PLM.
• Strong understanding of mechanical principles, materials science, and manufacturing processes relevant to agriculture.
• Experience with hydraulics, power transmission systems, and material handling is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for hybrid collaboration.
• Ability to manage projects and meet deadlines effectively.
• A passion for agriculture and its technological advancements.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new mechanical systems and improve existing designs for agricultural equipment using 3D CAD software.
• Create detailed engineering drawings, specifications, and BOM.
• Perform engineering calculations for stress, strain, and motion analysis.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure cost-effective, producible designs.
• Participate in prototyping, testing, and validation of new designs.
• Troubleshoot design-related issues and propose practical solutions.
