Placements24 is seeking a motivated Logistics Coordinator II in Randburg, Gauteng. This role involves managing shipping schedules, tracking shipments, and maintaining carrier relationships to ensure seamless supply chain operations.

You will coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, optimize costs, and ensure regulatory compliance while collaborating with internal teams and external partners to deliver excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in coordinating inbound/outbound shipments and transportation
• Proficient with logistics software and MS Office Suite
• Strong organizational, time-management and multitasking abilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration with internal teams and partners

Responsabilités

• Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments across multiple transportation modes.
• Track shipments in real time and provide updates to stakeholders and clients.
• Build and maintain relationships with carriers and 3PLs.
• Negotiate rates and service agreements to balance cost and quality.
• Ensure shipments comply with regulations and documentation requirements.
• Resolve logistics issues and respond to customer inquiries promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of shipments, inventory and documentation.
• Assist in developing logistics policies and procedures.
• Analyze transportation data to identify cost savings and efficiency gains.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth supply chain operations.
