Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a versatile Logistics Coordinator & Driver to join our Rustenburg team. The role combines hands-on driving with administrative coordination to keep goods moving efficiently across the North West province.

You will schedule routes, manage dispatch, and maintain vehicle and inventory records while communicating with drivers, clients, and suppliers. A hybrid work arrangement offers office and driving tasks in a dynamic logistics environment.

Qualifications

• Valid driver''s license (Code 08 or higher) and a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in logistics coordination or dispatch.
• Familiarity with route planning software and transportation management systems (TMS).
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively in a hybrid capacity.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule daily delivery routes for a fleet of vehicles.
• Manage dispatch operations, ensuring timely pick-ups and deliveries.
• Operate vehicles for delivery and pick-up of goods, ensuring safe transport.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and update the logistics management system.
• Communicate with drivers, clients, and suppliers to resolve logistical issues.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
