The ideal candidate is admitted as Attorney of the High Court of SA, with 5+ years PQE in corporate/commercial law, strong drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to work both remotely and

Qualifications

• Admitted Attorney of the High Court of South Africa.
• Minimum 5 years post-qualification experience in corporate or commercial law.
• Strong understanding of South African legal and regulatory frameworks.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide legal advice on corporate and commercial matters.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts, agreements, and other legal documents.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Conduct legal research and prepare opinions on complex legal issues.
• Advise business units on risk mitigation strategies.
• Support the legal team in managing litigation and dispute resolution.
• Assist with corporate governance matters and maintain statutory records.
• Liaise with external legal counsel when necessary.
