Qualifications

• LLB degree or equivalent and admission as Attorney or Advocate.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial contract law.
• Proven expertise in drafting and negotiating complex agreements.
• Strong understanding of South African contract law principles.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills with a client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate various commercial contracts, including vendor agreements, NDAs, and partnership agreements.
• Provide legal advice on contract interpretation, disputes, and termination clauses.
• Develop and maintain standard contract templates and playbooks.
• Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and company policies related to contractual obligations.
