Placements24 is seeking a seasoned Lead Industrial Engineer to drive transformation across our global logistics and supply chain operations from Cape Town, Western Cape. The role blends on-site collaboration with remote work flexibility and requires leadership of a team of engineers focused on efficiency, cost reduction, and service enhancement.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field, 10+ years in industrial engineering with a supply chain

Formación

• Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in industrial engineering with a focus on supply chain and logistics.
• Proven experience leading engineering teams and managing large optimization projects.
• Expertise in supply chain modeling, simulation, and performance analysis tools.
• In-depth knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, and WMS/TMS systems.

Responsabilidades

• Lead design, analysis, and implementation of optimized supply chain processes and facility layouts.
• Develop and deploy data-driven strategies to reduce lead times and costs.
• Use simulation, analytics, and statistical techniques to identify improvements.
• Mentor and manage a team of industrial engineers.
• Collaborate with operations, IT, and other stakeholders to integrate new systems.
• Establish KPIs and monitor performance to drive continuous improvement.
• Oversee new technologies and automation within logistics and distribution centers.
• Ensure safety and operational standards across all supply chain activities.
