Placements24 is seeking a motivated Junior Industrial Engineer to join a hybrid team in Vereeniging. This entry‑level role offers hands‑on experience in process analysis, system design, and operational improvement alongside senior engineers.

You will gain exposure to Lean and Six Sigma projects, collect data, help write SOPs, and participate in site visits while balancing on-site collaboration with remote analysis and reporting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Internship or 1–2 years in industrial/ manufacturing support preferred.
• Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement concepts.

Responsibilities

• Assist senior engineers in analyzing existing processes and performance.
• Support design and implementation of process improvements and system modifications.
• Collect and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for efficiency.
• Help develop and document SOPs and work instructions.
• Participate in Lean and Six Sigma projects and continuous improvement efforts.
• Conduct site visits and on-site observations with remote analysis and reporting.
