Placements24 is seeking an experienced HR Manager for its Richards Bay facility. The role blends on-site leadership with remote flexibility, focusing on HR strategy, employee relations, and compliance with SA labor laws.

You will oversee recruitment, performance management, compensation, and benefits, while driving talent development, workforce planning, and organizational effectiveness. A strong industrial HR background and stakeholder collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Psychology or related field.
• 8-10 years HR experience with 3-5 years in a managerial role, preferably in industrial/manufacturing.
• Proven industrial relations experience and trade union management.
• Strong knowledge of SA labor legislation (BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA).
• Strong leadership, communication and interpersonal skills.

• Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with operational goals.
• Manage recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance, compensation, and benefits.
• Oversee industrial relations and collective bargaining processes.
• Implement HR policies ensuring compliance with labor laws.
• Drive talent management including workforce and succession planning.
• Foster a positive work environment with engagement, diversity and inclusion.
• Handle disciplinary and grievance investigations with fair resolutions.
• Oversee HR budget and resource allocation.
• Guide line managers on HR-related matters and collaborate with senior management.
