Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, industrial psychology, business administration or related field.
• Master's degree preferred.
• 7–10 years HR experience with at least 4 years in a management or leadership role within an industrial/manufacturing environment.
• Extensive knowledge of SA labour law, industrial relations and HR best practices.
• Experience managing large employee groups, including unionized environments if applicable.
• Strong leadership, strategic thinking and decision-making skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and relevant software.
• Experience in change management and organizational development.
• Strong ethical compass and commitment to fostering a safe and inclusive workplace.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR department with strategic direction and operational oversight for all HR functions within the facility.
• Develop HR strategies that support plant objectives, focusing on productivity, efficiency and engagement.

• Manage the performance management system and development plans.
